Child, Youth and Young Adult Counselling

Located in Orangeville, Ontario

Are you or your child navigating anxiety, depression, negative self esteem, peer relationship challenges, grief, trauma or emotional dysregulation? You don't have to face these challenges alone. Hi and welcome! I'm Brittany, a dedicated therapist with a Master's degree in Social Work, and over ten years of working with children and youth. I have experience working in schools, healthcare, residential care, and with newcomers to Canada. My passion lies in supporting children, youth, young adults, and parents in their mental health journey.

With a trauma-informed, relational and strength-based approach, I am committed to creating a safe and nurturing space where you can explore your strengths, challenges, and hopes. I integrate art, books, and games into our time together, using evidence-based strategies and interventions.

In addition, I specialize in grief support and offer a compassionate, empathetic space for individuals and families to navigate the complexities of loss. Having experienced grief and the loss of a parent myself, I understand how deeply personal and unique each person’s journey can be. Whether your child is coping with the death of a loved one, adjusting to a major life transition, or facing another form of loss, I provide gentle, individualized support that meets them exactly where they are.

I would love to connect to learn more about what you are feeling at this time. Please reach out for a phone conversation and we can explore next steps.
